Focus Group Discussion: Research Centers and Groups Development

The Research Center and Group is one of the units at LPPM SGU whose role is to support lecturers and students in the field of research and community service. Research Centers and Groups were established to make a concrete contribution for lecturers and students to the challenges and problems that exist in society.


With this in mind, LPPM SGU held a Group Research and Development Center FGD which was attended by lecturers. This event was held at the Swiss German University Campus, at The Prominance Office Tower Alam Sutera, JL. West Silk Road No.15, Tangerang 15143.

In this activity there were 3 presenters, namely Kholis Abdurachim Audah, M.Sc, Ph.D as the Director of LPPM Swiss German University, Dr. Tanika D. Sofianti, ST, MT as Head of Research at Swiss German University, and Tabligh Permana, S.Si, M.Sc as Head of Community Service.


This Forum Group Discussion is the kick off of a series of activities for the formation and development of units sheltered by the Academy Research and Community Service (ARCS, or LPPM) from Swiss German University so that their performance will increase and contribute more to the development of science and technology for the benefit of science and society.

The next stage of activity is the Workshop on May 29 2023 with the theme “Organization and Management of Research Centers” which will be held at the SGU Campus. The event will also invite Prof. Dr. Wahyudi Sutopo from PUI Energy Storage Technologi, Sebelas Maret State University and Prof. Dr. Irmanida Batubara from PUI Biofarmaka Tropika IPB, Bogor Agricultural University as a facilitator who will provide direction to all existing and future Research Centers.

Hopefully, the FGD and workshop activities will increase and provide more contributions for lecturers and campuses to the development of science and technology for the benefit of science and the wider community.
