Call for Proposals: Climate Impact Innovations Challenge (CIIC)

In regard to the 2023 Competition of Climate Change Solution Innovation, Program of Climate Impact Innovations Challenge (CIIC), by East Ventures and the Temasek Foundation’s, we hereby invite members of Swiss German University to submit a proposal about the following conditions:

Focus Areas to solve four main ecological problems, namely Renewable Energy, Food and Agriculture, Mobility, and Oceans
Registration Time 1 March 2023 – 26 May 2023
The maximum grant amount is 10 Billion

Applicant Criteria:

Only teams that have created the pilot to create a minimum viable product with the intention for commercialization are eligible to join.
Possesses an original and innovative proposal
Proposes an impactful solution that addresses key challenges in at least one of the four tracks: Renewable Energy, Food and Agriculture, Mobility and Ocean in [Indonesia]
Presents a feasible solution that can be adopted quickly and perform well in a large scale setting
Potential for commercially viable solution, with a large market size

Climate Impact Innovations Challenge (CIIC) is Indonesia’s largest climate innovations tech platform of the year, brought to you by East Ventures and Temasek Foundation. This Challenge provides opportunities for tech innovators to showcase their sustainable innovations in addressing ecological challenges and mitigating the impacts of climate change. CIIC is a competition that provides opportunities for technology innovators to showcase sustainable innovations in overcoming various ecological challenges and reducing the impact of climate change. This program is here to provide opportunities for innovators to present innovative solutions in pressing various pressing environmental problems.

The teams will compete in four tracks for a total prize pool of IDR 10 billion to pilot their solutions within Indonesia, receive global exposure, be granted access to investors, and many other perks and benefits. Only teams that have created the pilot to create a minimum viable product with the intention for commercialization are eligible to join.
