Dr. Tanika D. Sofianti, S.T., M.T., a lecturer in the Industrial Engineering Study Program at Swiss German University, participated as a panelist in the Indonesia 4.0 Expo and Conference 2024 organized by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. This event will take place on August 27-28, 2024, at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Grand Ballroom Kemayoran, Jakarta, with the central theme “Together Towards Sustainability.”
In a panel session titled “Enhancing Technological Innovation for Sustainable Business Growth,” Dr. Tanika will share the stage with Mr. Arianto Subogo from Acer Indonesia and Mr. Sandi Fajariadi from the Indonesian Payment Gateway Association, who will serve as the session chair. This panel discusses in depth the important role of digital transformation in education and training, as well as how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the personalization and innovation of learning materials, both in written and video formats.
Dr. Tanika also presented on the learning innovations in the Industrial Engineering program at Swiss German University, which is supported by the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM), an initiative from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia for the year 2024. This innovation focuses on enhancing accessibility and engagement in the learning process through the use of digital technology.
The panel discussion was intense, with deep questions from participants, particularly regarding the utilization of Artificial Intelligence in the academic and professional context in Indonesia. Each panelist provided a comprehensive explanation of the practical applications of this technology in everyday life.
Dr. Tanika’s participation in the Indonesia 4.0 Expo and Conference 2024 marks her fourth involvement in this event. That experience further strengthened his belief in the importance of this conference as the main platform for Industry 4.0 practitioners in Indonesia. This event serves as a catalyst for various collaborations that support the empowerment and implementation of Industry 4.0 across the country.
