Jakarta, February 26, 2025 – In an effort to accelerate workforce transformation in the era of artificial intelligence (AI), Future CIO, in collaboration with Red Hat, held a Luncheon Event – “Accelerating Workforce Transformation in the AI Era,” which took place at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta.
This event brings together industry leaders, academics, and technology experts to discuss the role of open-source and AI training in creating a more competitive workforce in 2025. One of the panelists present was Dr. Maulahikmah Galinium, S.Kom, M.Sc, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at Swiss German University (SGU), representing Red Hat Academy Indonesia in the Panel Discussion session: Harnessing Open-Source & AI Training for Competitive Advantage in 2025.

In the discussion session, Dr. Maulahikmah highlighted the importance of strategic training in bridging the skills gap of the Indonesian workforce. He also discussed how academic institutions and industries can collaborate in creating more adaptive training programs based on labor market needs, especially in facing the challenges of digital transformation and the AI revolution.
This event also provides insights into strategies for building a workforce ready to face the future with relevant technological skills. The discussion covers best practices in integrating AI and open-source into training curricula, as well as how organizations can enhance their competitiveness with a more prepared and skilled workforce.
