SGU Strengthens Cybersecurity Education through Strategic MoU with Positive Technologies

Friday, July 26, 2024 – The Swiss German University (SGU) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Positive Technologies, a leading Russian cybersecurity firm. This momentous agreement marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration designed to elevate cybersecurity education and research at SGU.

This collaborative effort holds immense promise for the future, paving the way for several key initiatives: double degrees for bachelor’s and master’s programs, internships, bootcamps for specialized cybersecurity training, knowledge exchange, and industry exposure for SGU students.

Esteemed representatives from Positive Technologies were present at the signing ceremony:
1. Yuliya Danchina, Director of the Education Center.
2. Timur Efremov, Senior Expert from the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Indonesia.
3. Wijaya Sugiri, Country Manager Indonesia for Positive Technologies.

SGU was well-represented by its esteemed leadership team:
1. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Samuel P Kusumocahyo, SGU Rector.
2. Dr. Maulahikmah Galinium, S.Kom., M.Sc., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT).
