The Research Center for Renewable Energy, Energy Conservation and Enviroment was established in 2014 when the study program Sustainable Energy and Environment was launched. Its objective is to carry out research activities that contribute to the gradual transformation of the Indonesian energy supply system towards a system that increasingly improves its environmental compatibility without neglecting energy security and economic competitiveness. Lecturers from the Faculty of Life Sciences and Technology and from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology contribute to the activities of the research center.
Research Topics:
- Renewable energy scenarios for grids in Indonesia
