Jakarta – The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek) of the Ministry of Education and Culture through the Directorate of Research, Technology and Community Service opens acceptance of research and community service proposals in 2023. The research and community service program provides funding assistance to universities in developing research and innovation to increase the competitiveness of the nation.
The Director of Research, Technology and Community Service at the Directorate General of Higher Education, M. Faiz Syuaib revealed that the implementation of research and community service programs in 2023 will be carried out through the BIMA platform. The business process for conducting research and community service activities, starting from the announcement process, submitting proposals, selecting, determining, implementing, monitoring, reporting, to assessing outcomes is carried out through BIMA.
Acceptance of research proposals and community service is open from March 9 to April 9 2023. The research schemes that are opened this year include two schemes, namely basic research schemes and applied research schemes. Basic research schemes include fundamental (regular) research, domestic collaborative research, postgraduate research (master’s theses and doctoral dissertations), and novice lecturer research; while the applied research scheme includes the downstream path. The community service scheme consists of three schemes including the Community-Based Empowerment Scheme (PBM), the Entrepreneurship-Based Empowerment Scheme (PBK), and the Area-Based Empowerment Scheme (PBW).
Universities that will submit proposals can participate in the dissemination of research and community service guidelines which will be held by the Directorate General of Higher Education three times on March 13 and 14 2023.
