Dr. Tanika D. Sofianti, S.T., M.T., feels honored to participate as a speaker at the Infiniti 4.0 TECH DAY organized by Telkomsel, Swiss German University, and Infinitigroup on Thursday, September 5, 2024. This event is held at the Indonesia 4.0 Digital Industry Center, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, and focuses on the future of Industry 4.0 as well as the crucial role of human capital in driving this transformation.
Dr. Tanika shared insights during a panel session titled “Empowering the Workforce: Shaping Human Capital for Industry 4.0 Readiness.” Alongside Mr. M. Yusuf from the Toyota Learning Center, TMMIN, and Mr. Thalhah Hanif from Asperio, and moderated by Mr. Yaser Ali Husen from PT AgileOps Consultant Indonesia, the discussion explored how emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Industrial IoT, Big Data Analytics, and Virtual Reality, are transforming human resource development and preparing the workforce for the future.
Dr. Tanika highlights the importance of workforce readiness in facing the rapidly evolving digital era. “It is an honor for me to join this panel and discuss how we can empower human capital for the future of Industry 4.0,” she stated. This panel discussion sparked the enthusiasm of the participants who posed various questions regarding the utilization of technology in workforce development.
The Industrial Engineering program at Swiss German University participated in the exhibition. They showcased IoT-based air quality monitoring equipment, the result of a collaborative research project between SGU and Mr. Tohazen from the Jakarta State Polytechnic. This project is supported by an internal grant from Swiss German University, which promotes innovative research in the field of technology.
