Swiss German University (SGU) together with the Regional Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Tangerang City recently held a collaborative meeting on Thursday, November 7, 2024, marking a significant step in improving the quality of human resources as well as the skills and expertise of civil servants (ASN) in Tangerang City.
This meeting serves as concrete evidence of SGU’s commitment to synergize with the BKPSDM of Tangerang City in providing education and training specifically designed for ASN within the local government. On this occasion, SGU proposed special programs tailored to the needs of ASN, including master’s programs and short courses focusing on strategic fields that support the development goals of Tangerang City.
This collaboration not only reinforces SGU’s role as a higher education institution committed to supporting local governments in advancing the competencies of ASN, but also serves as a tangible contribution from SGU in building a brighter future for the City of Tangerang. With specially designed programs, SGU aims to equip ASN of the City of Tangerang with the latest knowledge and skills in line with the demands of modern and sustainable development.
The strategic partnership between SGU and BKPSDM Kota Tangerang is expected to serve as a model for collaboration between educational institutions and local governments in Indonesia, as well as contribute to the creation of professional, competitive, and adaptable civil servants in response to changing times.
