Tangerang, November 22, 2024 – Academic Research and Community Service (ARCS) Swiss German University (SGU) held a ceremony for the signing of the internal Innovation Stimulus Fund (ISF) Batch II grant for the 2024-2025 period. The ISF program aims to promote the development of innovations that have a wide impact, both at the local and national levels, through support for outstanding research projects.
This year, SGU awarded ISF grants to six innovative research projects, namely:
1. Dr. Hery Sutanto, S.Si., M.Si.
Research Title: Candlenut Oil and Fish Oil Blend as a Food Supplement for Stunting Solution in Tangerang Regency
2. Dr. Rusman Rusyadi
Research Title: Outdoor Autonomous Mobile Robot – Security Surveillance Robot
3. Aulia Putri Meidina, S.Sos., M.A.
Research Title: Enhancing Social Media Engagement in Higher Education: Problem Mapping and Action Research Through SGU Media
4. Dr.-Ing. Diah Indriani Widiputri, S.T., M.Sc.
Research Title: Extraction and Purification Process of Squalene from Bidara (Ziziphus) Leaves
5. Dr. Irvan S. Kartawiria, S.T., M.Sc.
Research Title: Development of Low-cost Bioreactor for Continuous Engineered Simultaneous Saccharification and Fermentation (ESSF) of Bioethanol
6. Aulia Arif Iskandar, S.T., M.T.
Research Title: Development of Mobile Phone Application for Dub-Dub Smart Wearable ECG
This ISF program demonstrates SGU’s commitment to supporting interdisciplinary innovations that are relevant to the needs of society and the industrial world. “We hope that the results of these research projects can provide real solutions to various challenges faced by society, and become part of SGU’s contribution to the advancement of science and technology,” said the SGU Rector at the event.
This ceremony also serves as an important momentum in strengthening collaboration between SGU and strategic partners, whether from the academic, industrial, or government sectors, in realizing sustainable innovation.
