SGU berikan Dana Hibah Internal 2024 untuk Dukung Inovasi dan Pengabdian Masyarakat melalui ISF dan CCSF

Tangerang, October 25, 2024 – Academic Research and Community Service (ARCS) Swiss German University (SGU) held a ceremony for the annual signing of internal grants, namely the Innovation Stimulus Fund (ISF) and Central Community Service Fund (CCSF) for the 2024-2025 period.

This event was held on Friday, October 25, 2024, with the awarding of grant funds to selected principal investigators to support innovative projects and community service activities in various fields.

The ISF grant is focused on research for technology and innovation development, while the CCSF allocates funds for community service programs that directly benefit the community. This event was held at the SGU Alam Sutera campus, attended by the recipients, the head of the research team, Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Samuel P. Kusumocahyo as the Rector of SGU, and Dr. Ir. Maulahikmah Galinium, S.Kom., M.Sc. as the Director of ARCS SGU.

The SGU Rector delivered his speech, “We are proud to be able to provide support through this grant program.” ISF and CCSF are tangible manifestations of SGU’s commitment to promoting impactful research and relevant community service. We hope that these projects can make a tangible contribution to the development of science and improve the welfare of the surrounding community.

This year’s CCSF program includes four flagship projects focused on empowering and enhancing the capacity of high school students in Indonesia. The four CCSF 2024-2025 recipients are:
1. Enhancing Culinary Skills and Business Acumen: A Comprehensive Cooking Class Program for High School Students – Led by Rano Abryanto, S.Tr.Par., M.Par., CHE,
2. Entrepreneurship Education in the Digital Era through Business Simulation for High School/Vocational Students – Led by Dr. Anthon Stevanus Tondo, S.E., MBA,
3. Precursor Step to Digital Transformation Workshop by Bachelor of Information Technology SGU to High School Students in Indonesia – This project is led by Joseph Andreas, S.Kom., B.Eng., M.Sc.,
4. Enrichment of Accounting Knowledge In Senior High School (SMA/K) Through Focus Group Discussion And Marketing Visit – Led by Agung Joni Saputra, M. Akt.

In order to encourage the development of impactful innovations, SGU provides ISF grants to four research projects, namely:
1. The Influence of Public Perception on Purchase Intention: Case Study of Kuasa Gelap, the First Indonesian Exorcism Film – Led by Dipl-Ing. Panji Nandiasa Ananda Mukadis, S.Kom, MM
2. Development of Functional Exoskeleton as Walking Therapy Tool – This innovative project is led by Dr. Ir. Eka Budiarto, S.T., M.Sc
3. Optimizing TikTok Marketing For Universities: An AI-Driven Approach to Boost Student Intake – Led by Assoc. Prof. Ir. James Purnama, M.Sc.
4. Pyrolysis Machine for Recycling Plastic Waste: Turning Plastic Waste to Fuel – Led by Dr. Yunita Umniyati, S.Si., M.Sc.

The signing of the ISF and CCSF grants marks an important moment for SGU in carrying out its mission to support research and community service that is beneficial. By providing financial support as well as facilities and infrastructure, SGU is committed to continuously developing scientific works and activities that have a positive impact on society.

“Through this grant, we want to ensure that research and community service at SGU not only become scientific works but also have a real impact on the surrounding environment and the academic world.” “We hope that these funded projects can serve as inspiration and encourage more innovation in the future,” said the Director of ARCS SGU.

With the implementation of this grant, Swiss German University hopes to continue contributing to the fields of education, research, and community service, as well as providing opportunities for students and lecturers to engage in projects that build their practical and professional skills.
